Vermont was the 13th state to introduce the Healthy Workplace Bill

  • S 52 is in the House and has been referred to the House committee on General, Housing and Military Affairs. If it passes the House the new study committee will meet no later than July 15, 2011 and report its conclusions no later than Jan 15, 2012. Use to EZ Mailer to voice your support!
  • S 52 has passed the Senate. The original text was discarded and replaced with details about a new committee to study the issue of workplace bullying in vermont. Read the new text here.

Sen. Cummings introduced S 52 with co-sponsors Doyle & Pollina.

2009

Senator Cummings introduced a new version of the HWB as S 87. No public hearing was held.

2008

Senator Ann Cummings introduced the companion bill S 312.

2007

Vermont became the 13th state in the U.S. to introduce the Healthy Workplace Bill. The first state bill was H 548. sponsored by former Rep. Leo Valliere.
