2009
In 2009, Senator Jonathan Windy Boy proposed the state's second attempt at anti-bullying legislation, SB 494 on 2/18/09. The bill however varied significantly from the text of the Healthy Workplace Bill and it was not endorsed by this organization. The bill failed to pass committee by deadline.
2006
In 2006 then House Rep. Jonathan Windy Boy sponsored HB 213, the WBI Healthy Workplace Bill. The House Business and Labor Committee held a public hearing in Jan. 2007. The committee voted 9 to 7 against the bill strictly along party lines.
